If you’re stuck for anything to do when you’re depressed, look up some motivating videos on YouTube. There are many, but here are a few of my personal favorites:

Today, be kind to everyone you see and assist those who are in need.
Kindness makes everyone feel better, including you and those around you. And I’m a firm believer in the idea that when you show compassion to others around you, the world will return the favor.
21. FORGIVE
Stop ruminating on the bad aspects of your life.
Allow others to forgive you. Please pardon yourself. And then get rid of the source of your misery. Allow everything to go.
Nothing lasts forever, and everything pales in contrast to the vastness of the universe and the life we have been given. So let it go and get on with your life. Stop ruminating.
22. BECOME FAMILIAR WITH YOURSELF
When we’re upset, it’s sometimes best to turn inwardly and quit ignoring the misery.
Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and a notebook and have a chat with yourself.
We can become so caught up in trying to understand the world around us that we lose sight of what’s going on inside ourselves.

When you’re sad, have a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.
I’m not sure if you like coffee or tea, but I enjoy a nice, warm cup of coffee to improve my spirits.
25. RIDE YOUR BIKE OR GO FOR A WALK.
If you’re feeling down, get out there and take in some fresh air. Take in the scenery, enjoy the clouds, and go for a walk or a bike ride. Do it, even if it’s only walking up and down your block.
Going for a walk outside can do wonders for one’s emotional state.
For me, going for a stroll while listening to my favorite songs is divine… I sometimes feel as if I want to walk forever since the experience is so wonderful.
26. IMPROVE YOUR SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS
If you realize that unhappiness stems from a deeper issue, the first step toward conquering it is to increase your self-awareness.

How to Get Rid of Sadness
Try buying flowers for yourself. It may seem weird. Alternatively, go outside and gather flowers from your yard or a neighboring field.
Cherish the small moments of beauty you bring into your life and allow them to offer you an extra minute of joy.
40. CHANGE YOUR POINT OF VIEW
In this place and at this time, you are perfect just the way you are. You are without a doubt supposed to be here, regardless of the roads you may have followed in the past.

41. GET UP EARLY
Try waking up earlier: Getting up earlier in the day can help you feel more enthusiastic and get more done.
When I wake up at 4 a.m., I often have my best, most productive, or even life-changing days.
I don’t always know what I’m going to do at 4 a.m., but the things I end up doing would not have been possible if I had gotten up at my usual time.
